Lesson: Mount your speakers correctly. This would ****.

no kidding. Back in the day with my first system i had my amps just held down with some velcro straps, i rolled the truck and one of my amps cut the side of my head, the other amp flew out the side window and down the street about 30 feet. Scary sht. There is a lesson in there somewhere...
The lesson is trunk cars are good for something after all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

The speaker could easily be a 6x9. They said the truck was speeding, so you figure after braking, and the size of the truck, probably a good 30-45 mph collision there. A small speaker could really hurt someone.

It has to be a sub since in the picture the guy had a kicker zx series amplifier, mounted to a box.

Ah, my bad. I was just saying, it is possible for a 6x9 to **** your world up.

My question is, how did this sub work if it wasn't secrured to the box? Must have sounded terrible.

The whole box with the amp mounted on back hit the guy in the head.
