Legislators aim to snuff out penalties for pot use

If the kid can pay a bum $5 to buy him an oz of weed for say $50 (no idea on weed prices, this is just an example), he ends up with an oz of weed for $55.
Say there is a guy who has a couple plants and sells it to people in the area. He doesnt have to pay employees, taxes, etc. He can sell much cheaper and make even more profit. So he sells the kid an oz for $40.

The kid has the choise to find a middleman and spend $10-15 more, or just walk down the street, ring a doorbell, and buy the same product for $40. What do you think he would do?

I think it would be all about supply and demand and convenience. I could illegally sell you something for $X cheaper than, lets say, Wal-mart could. Would you rather run the risk of buying something you have no idea where it came from, from some random dude. Or pay for something you KNOW will be safe.

Im always down for a good debate with someone who can actually form a structured sentence with his opinions. When people start "NO UR AN IDOIT IT NEEDZ TO BE LEGAL! smoke weed EVERTDAY!", I just give up.

Yea, people like that are just flat out stupid, and they are why marijuana has such a bad rep.

If marijuana was to be legalized there would be mass production and grown proffesionaly to creme of the crop. I would much rather go to the nearest gas station and pic up a pack of some fine grown and rolled cannabis then the guy growing it in his basement.

Why don't I grow tobacco and make beer? I wouldn't have to pay employees or taxes. O, wait, cause its legal, and mass produced and thats f*cking stupid.

legalizeing weed will help in allot of ways..

the price of weed will go down, due to mass production, and due to the fact that the plant can be used for paper, rope, hash, hemp, and for smokeing/ enjoyment / medical perpouses...

weed can be used for sooo many diffrent things..

I don't want my kids growing up thinking that

smoking weed is okay. So I will oppose this

legislation, but if it becomes law, so be it.
