For all you guys who do the tint yourselves... how hard is it to really do? I want to tint my own windows, but i've been told not to waste me time. Is it possible to do a good tint job your first time? and where do you buy it from?

another shot of my car with my sister's in the background, he's got 32% all around, my mom does too. If you want clean and good amount dark, i'd recommend medium (30ish%) if you have a black interior. dark (10~20%) for other. i have a friend who has tint like mine all around and his looks way darker with his black interior. my sister's and mom's car also have black interiors making the medium tint look only slightly lighter than mine (i have grey interior)

and i only have more big *** pics cuz i just washed my car and debadged //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif mommys car is in the garage

Tinting is not as easy as people 'think'. Try it yourself..you will realize why there are shops that specialize in it.

And there is no such thing as 0% btw.

The legal tint limit varies from state to state, county to county. But most states/counties have roughly the same limit. Other than large cities where a lot of illegal activities go on in.

In most places the legal tint level is 35% in the front, and 15% in the back, and you can have nothing on your windshield other than the top 6 inches. However, there is no "tint meter" that a cop can use, most is guessing. I have 15% all around, and have never been stopped for it. Although it is not that dark, and is still somewhat visible up front because of the windshield's light, you can still not make out exactly what is going on in the car, which I like.... And at night, you can not see through it, unless you put your hands on the glass, in which case, I would be forced to open the door and harm you to the fullest extent of my Nine...

And when is the last time a cop has used this to determine the opacity of a car tint?

Looked it up, seems like it is more for scientific purposes and not automotive use...

BTW- You live in Canada? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
