Legacy SUCKS ARSE!!!!!!

Don’t ever buy a **** thing from Legacy. Not even an amp kit. I bought an amp kit that stated it had right angle RCA cables and had 2 spade terminals. It came with regular RCA cables, which I can still probably use, and 4 ring terminals instead of 2 ring and 2 spade. So I called Legacy and did the automated response system until I got to a person in a department that I thought could help. I now know why customer service was not a option. This guy starts asking me questions like “Where did you get this number?” and “Did Rudolpho give you this number?” I had to tell the guy half a dozen times I called the 800 number on the website and did the response system. Then he transfers me. The next guy spoke with me for a while and we determined that the amp kits had been changed but some of the new kits had been stuck in old boxes that didn’t have the specs changed. He tells me he can help me out on the spade terminals but not on the RCA cables ‘cause they don’t have anymore. That was cool with me ‘cause I can make the cables work, but there is no where remotely close for me to get good spade, or ring terminals that will fit on my amp. Then he asks “Is there anything else I can help you with today?” I say no and he hangs up w/o getting my name or address to send me some spade terminals. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 
For one they are not going to "shit" them to me 'cause the dude hung up and I can't go buy decent ones in this middle of no where town. That was in my original post.

Also, the same company owns pyramid, pyle, legacy, and a couple other terd factories.

Can I just use regular terminals from the hardware store or does the gold plated terminals provide a big advantage???

 
Someone on here can probably send you some. Out of curiousity, where are you located?

Put a Wanted To Buy up in the classifieds, theres a few people on here that sell wiring accessories, or someone might have some extras sitting around.

 
considering that u purchased a legacy and that it puts out half of the RMS it says even at max, u can just go to ur local hardware store and buy some. it wont hurt nothing and u wont have ne gains using gold terminals with an amp like that. no offense.

The AMP is NOT legacy. Just the wiring kit. My previous experience is that wiring kits are pretty much all equal. Guess not.

Get ahold of a user named Frito, he has all types of amp accessories. Where are you located at?

It might be wise to just return the amp kit, if possible.

I had one guy ask several times how I got his number 'cause he was obviously not happy with the fact I reached him, and another said he would help and then hung up. I don't give a phuck how good or bad their products are, they obviously have a corporate attitude toward the customer that I want no part of.
