LEFT side of components blown??

hey i was cruising earlier then all of a sudden the left woofer and tweeter stopped playing. i got scared and turned the volume down. then i turned it bacc up to c if i was hearing correctly then the left side came bacc on. then crusing more it went bacc off. this just happened about ten minutes ago. its on right now. what im wondering is is it possible that the left side is becoming "close to blown" or something??? if they were to blow they would just stop playing permanently right?? im hoping a wire became loose at the left side's crossover network. im just lazy to take off my door panel and checc. haha but yea.. i can be assured its not going blown right??

i think the keyword to describe the left side playback is INTERMITTENT. its gotta be a bad connection somewhere, right?

yes it has to be a wire coming off and back on causeing the sound to stop and start i usually squeeze the spade connectors down tight so they are hard to get on and off then they stay for good

i checced the crossover and everything seemed secure and contacting. it didnt do it at all on the way home from work though.
