LED Tire Lights

i'd say no... Money can be spent on something more productive, like hand lotion and tissue.
Sound nice ..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i don't recall them being illegal, as radioshack used to sell something of similar kind.

i would think only certain colors are illegal(ones that represent cops, red/blue) just like neons. though i haven't seen them around lately as people grew out of that fad of putting lights on the windsheild wiper sprayers and switching out the vehicles emblem with a light up or or something.

like everyone says don't bother with them.. waste of money and burn out pretty fast.. plus it's not a solid light they tend to blink so your not getting a solid light ring while you drive.

Go into pretty much any auto parts store in the country (Pep Boys, AutoZone, Advance Auto, NAPA, whatever's your preference) and there are plenty of products sold there that are not legal for on-road use. Most of these products have a disclaimer on the packaging somewhere that specifies "FOr Off-Road or Show Use Only" but some don't.

Just because they're easily acquirable doesn't equate to legal for use on public roadways. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I wonder why are they ilegal? was the reason
because the cops are gay and say that they can be mistaken for police vehice lights???? i know they told my friend that when he had his blue neon on under his blazer and they wernt flashing or anything. cops **** sometimes

To be legal in MI they'd have to be amber. Do what you want but I think they're just another product they put out there for people looking for a quick attention getter.
