LED question

wouldn't there be any type of drainage from the battery. Are you going to connect this directly to your car battery or from a seperate battery with a switch?

car battery prolly, i mean they have like 400,000 hrs of life, so i think ill just do that....

ah, i was thinking, buy yourself one of those cheapo batteries for like 50 bucks at walmart and then add a wall light switch and connect teh LED's. I think wiring them from your car battery throughout your car is kinda difficult if not time consuming. But good luck :p how bright do those LED's get?

thats 3 4v LEDs on a 12v source.

for 14.4v, just add another LED in line and you will be fine. wire the GND to a toggle switch if you wanna be able to turn them on\off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Anyone know how to wire these bastards?

where does wire go? i dont know whats - +

thanks!
i didnt see the image at first so here goes... the OPPOSITE corners at the annode\cathode. so just use a 9v battery until you figure what sides light up, and wire them that way. do NOT forget the resistors because these things are tiny little beasts and they can make some serious heat for that small of a light.

so dont wire them wrong.
