LED Bar

most people fuse anything that is coming directly from a (12v) power source. Being that this is led you need a very tiny fuse, possibly 1amp and can use even very small wire. That is the whole point of LED. Small consumption and virtually eternal life if fed proper power.

I would use a toggle switch somewhere. If you showed me your ride and system in the middle of the day and were fired up on LEDs.. I would call you on a fail before you even turned the music on.

u'd be safe if it wasn't fused. LED's take somethin' like 1.5 volts a piece!

You can just wire it into a factory fuse somewhere probably. Like the ACC fuse.

But you prob don't need one. Not a lot of chance of LED's randomly drawing a massive amount of current.

And I also suggest a toggle. Better for aesthetics.

If they run at 1.5 volts a piece, do you run 8 of them in series then?
