Lebron

let me know when Championships don't matter b/c all you're points don't mean anything. LBJ has 0 Championship Titles and no matter what his or anyone's stats are, Championships define a career. Do you really think that Pippen wouldn't have been higher in the Greatest players ever if he had won just 1 championship title without MJ?

I'm not saying that rings don't matter, but to compare two supporting casts that are nowhere near the same league is just ridiculous. If rings define a career, then anyone who has won a championship is better than Lebron, according to your standards.

And there is no "higher" or "lower" on the top 50 team...it's just the top 50. If MJ hadn't been there, Pippen would have averaged 25+ points, 8 boards, and 5 assists every year...

I'm not dogging MJ, he's the greatest ever, and his rings secure that for him I believe. I don't think anyone else will win 6+ rings with the way the competition is nowadays, and still put up the kind of numbers MJ did.

so you're saying that the 50th greatest player is just as good as the 10th, that he can change a game or series the same way??? Pippen could have scored 100pts a game, with no championships his career is just like anyone elses. he is only in the top 50 b/c of MJ, without MJ he's a Clyde Drexler. Kobe will remain in the shadow of Shaq until he wins a title without him, same with D-Wade, same went Pippen to MJ.

I'm saying that there is no placement, so there is no room for argument about such nonexistent placement.

And Pippen was better than Drexler(who is also on the top 50 team)...here's some interesting stats for you.

Holds NBA records for:

-Career assists by a forward (6,135)[12]

-Career steals by a forward (2,307)[13]

-Career steals in the playoffs (395)[14]

-3-point field goals made in an NBA Finals game (7, shared with Kenny Smith and Ray Allen)

Achievements:

-Pippen is one of three NBA players to record 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season (1989-90 season).

Michael Jordan performed the feat back-to-back in 1986-87 and 1987-88 seasons.

Hakeem Olajuwon in 1988-89 season.

-His 10 NBA All-Defensive honors and 8 NBA All-Defensive First Team honors are each one shy of the NBA record.

-Was half of the 10th tandem to score 40 points in the same game.

Pippen scored 40 points and Michael Jordan scored 44 points against the Indiana Pacers on February 18, 1996

-Was half of the 9th tandem (with Jordan) to record triple-doubles in the same game.

-Pippen is one of four NBA players to lead his team in all five major statistical categories (points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals) in a season (1994-95 season).

and thats another reason why, he will never be MJ
I hate how they are reclaiming "the shot" to him over Jordan now... IT WAS ONLY GAME 2!!!.... They are talking like it was the end of the season/end of their playoffs/ series changer....Jordans was a better move (juked the guy outta his shorts) and it was a series/season ender

MJ had more than 1.0 second on the clock when he "juked" the guy

Need to remind you, Pippen went to Portland and couldn't win a Championship. Tough big men??? like Luc Longley and Bill Cartwright? lol. Knock down shooters?? he only had 2, 1 each go around. Paxon on the first go around, than Kerr on the second go around. LBJ has better all around player than MJ ever had. MJs teams were specialized, each person had 1 role besides playing D and that was it. example, Rodman just had to get rebounds, Kerr and Paxon needed to make the open shots, etc...
on the MJ being shorter issue, need we also remind you that LBJ also has 50+lbs over MJ. Here's another stat for MJ that LBJ will never have, MJ has a signature dunk as his division of Nike that other players like KG wear. also MJ had his own video game, need we go old school "Jordan vs. Bird"
If you are referring to Kevin Garnett wearing Jordan Brand shoes on the court you are wrong. KG is an Adidas athlete... Hence having his own shoe with his own portrait on it as pictured below.

MJ is the most clutch player in the NBA
Your statement should say "was".

I never said he wasn't, I'm just stating he had more time on the clock to make a move. If Mo Williams would have made the shot in Game 1 off the jump ball people would've been jumping for joy about that win as well. It was missed, so no one remembers it, and it was only Wednesday. LeBron made his shot, and now it's the newest Shot Heard 'Round The World.
