Lebron

I knew he was a college fan.

Also I think Z is an awesome big man. Can shoot the rock better than almost any 7 footer out there besides Dirk and can rebound and has skillz passing the ball. He has another couple years in him......maybe. Has bad ankles and is slowing down some.

Still can plain shoot the rock!

I say sign Kidd and mold Hickson in slowly again next year. He has potential as well. I think we will get rid of Wally world and maybe Smith, which I hope we keep Smith. Was pissed when we got rid of him last year, but helped get Willams, so it worked out as we brought him back.

Cavs should've lost you can't give up a lead that huge at home in the playoffs. Magic stepped up and deserved to win. I think Orlando will win the series. The cavs haven't had a real challenge in the playoffs until now.
Yep, no team should be able to weather a storm. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Orlando is just that good IMO. They have a very good team and if they do win, I think they could beat either West team honestly.

I wanted Boston and knew we would struggle against the Magic, and agree we shouldn't let them back in the game, but shit happens and a win is a win, which was a huge one for Cleveland.

I think we will be fine and see how we do in game 1 in Orlando. I think if we go in and get killed, then it may be over. If we lose, it better be close and come out with 1 one in Orlando.

Still only game 2, and we have been tested, now it is time to step up to the plate.

Umm, how many pts does he need to have to dismantle a team? He dam near 50 pts in the first game. He was pretty much the entire team! Granted he passed the ball at the last second, but he should have took it to the hoop, but wow, you are a tough judge of character, lol!
Also remember Jordan had pippen and a hell of a supporting cast most all of his years in Chicago. Bron never had that till this year with Willams and Willams isn't a Pippen IMO, but he will do.
see you agree that LBJ doesn't know when he needs to take the rock and impose his will. look in game 2, he only shot the game winning shot b/c Mo told him, "I am throwing you the ball no matter what". Mo may not have the size of Pippen but he still has a presence on the floor. Not a tough judge of character, just that he has all the talent and doesn't know what to do with it. It's like having a Lambo in the garage year round.

you must not have seen him play against the pistons when he had the final 25 points for the cavs in game 6 a few years back. if thats not taking a game into his hands then i dont know what is
Maybe you didn't see that game. the Pistons defense was in man to man for the entire 4th quarter. LBJ got the ball b/c no one else could get free. it took a team taking away his passing option. he will never willingly take a game into his hands like MJ would. MJ would call timeout and tell Phil and the rest of the team, "get me the ball and I'll take care of the rest, you guys just need to play D". LBJ will never be triple teamed b/c everyone knows he'll pass. MJ would get triple teamed almost nightly and he'd still score 40. LBJ scores if the opportunity is there, MJ scored at will.

either way, no matter what kind of numbers LBJ puts up he still needs to win atleast 3 straight Championship Titles to even be put into the same category as MJ. MJ won 6 titles, when he left Chicago they couldn't even make the playoffs. Look at Kobe, he got 3 straight titles and he still can't win one without Shaq. So who was the real force on that team?, Shaq went to Miami and won another title without Kobe (yeah I know that got D-Wade).

Maybe Mo did say that, but it is what James needs to do more of, no doubt! That is part of what makes a legend a legend.

Bron don't know how to use his talent? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Got me on that one, lol !

Remember, Jordan passed the ball quite a bit. I have seen Pippen win big games back in the day off a Jordan pass, but most of the time it was Jordan, which is where him and Bron differ.........for now. People dont seem to realize this is only LeBrons 6th season. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

And we should have better players around James, which we are starting to do.

Jordan won all those championships, but wasn't just because of him. He always had a nice supporting cast.

Lebron would have 1 right now if it wasn't for our bench or other players in the SA series.

Seasons with 2000+ points, 500+ rebounds, and 500+ assists
MJ had 2. Lebron already has 4.

Kobe has none IIRC.
MJ has 6 titles

Kobe has 3

LBJ has 0

stats mean nothing with out a title just ask KG. Or better yet go ask Chuck, Stockton, Clyde, Dominique, or the Mailman.

Jordan was what, 4" shorter... AND, he had the games all time best rebounder to do that for him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh:

but the points stat is pretty surprising

MJ had the best team of all time. He had Pippen who would have been the go to guy on pretty much any other team. Not to mention tough big men and knock down shooters...Lebron will never have that kind of help in Cleveland, I'm afraid.

He didn't have 500+ rebounds and 500+ assists in all of those seasons as well...check your reading comprehension.

Lebron will end up with better all around stats(except maybe scoring and steals) than MJ, since he has to be the "everything man" on his team right now. I think that's why he wants to pass to an open man in the last seconds, even though he could probably get a shot off himself. He's used to doing everything, getting everyone involved...

MJ was 6'6", just 2" shorter...
Need to remind you, Pippen went to Portland and couldn't win a Championship. Tough big men??? like Luc Longley and Bill Cartwright? lol. Knock down shooters?? he only had 2, 1 each go around. Paxon on the first go around, than Kerr on the second go around. LBJ has better all around player than MJ ever had. MJs teams were specialized, each person had 1 role besides playing D and that was it. example, Rodman just had to get rebounds, Kerr and Paxon needed to make the open shots, etc...

on the MJ being shorter issue, need we also remind you that LBJ also has 50+lbs over MJ. Here's another stat for MJ that LBJ will never have, MJ has a signature dunk as his division of Nike that other players like KG wear. also MJ had his own video game, need we go old school "Jordan vs. Bird"

Need to remind you, Pippen went to Portland and couldn't win a Championship.
Need I remind you he was named as one of the top 50 players of all time? He was 33 and in his 12th season when he went to Portland...hard to do mcuh when your career is nearly over(even though they made it to the conference finals in his first year in Portland).

When MJ left after the 92-93 season, Pippen was all-star MVP, averaged 22pts, nearly 9 boards, and 5.5 assists per game the following season...sure sounds like a slacker to me. He also had three straight years of being on the all NBA first team. He's better than anybody Lebron will ever have around him. Period.

Tough big men??? like Luc Longley and Bill Cartwright? lol.
How about Horace Grant, Rodman, Bill Wennington, Will Perdue(even John Salley //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)...mean physical guys that play D, rebound, and will wear you out down low.

Knock down shooters?? he only had 2, 1 each go around. Paxon on the first go around, than Kerr on the second go around.
Paxon hit quite a few game winners, and Kerr has the highest 3pt percentage IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA. Again, he had knock down shooters who could make game winners if need be.

on the MJ being shorter issue, need we also remind you that LBJ also has 50+lbs over MJ.
How does that matter in the slightest? In that case Lebron should be slower and not be able to get to the hole too easily...you can argue either way whether or not being bigger is better(especially when talking about a shooting guard or a perimeter small forward). There are benefits to being bigger as well as consequences...Lebron doesn't seem to show much of the consequences.
