I understand how it appears trust me, I really do. I was thinking about the infractions long before it was ever brought up on face book. I was still weighing out options and thoughts and how this should go. After sitting down to dinner and talking it over with my brother he only reassured me that I should go through with infractions simply based on the forum rules and that we should have never let it get as far as we did.

So we agree there, this should have been handled when it first started spilling out of the dome and in a much swifter way. That part lays with us the mods not picking up where we should have. Perhaps in many ways because several moderator's have similar feelings about the "skar" topic as most members and simply "let it slide". Regardless there is no excuse for how long this drug out before moderators started stepping in. To be honest, I didn't even pay much attention to it until I started receiving PM's from members expressing their views on the lack of moderation on this forum and such.

Anyway, I wish you the best on other forums West. You are always welcome back anytime you want to try this forum out again.

Post dumping is against the rules. So is skamming people.
May I say this as I button things up here.

Pro-rabbit gave me an infraction for a quote from another member.

All this was started in facebook far away from this forum. From a member who had a disagreement with "rabbit".

The issue is this. The moderators choose when they want to enforce the rules based on who they like and who they dislike. He had an angry customer and he persists to hold that customer to a higher standard. The fact that this happened with a Skar issue only makes matters worse.

It's very convienient when he (and a few of the other mods) decide to "do their jobs" as moderators. And trust me I can understand completely why being a mod is a thankless job. Lots of gray area's etc.

Skar should have been banned a long time ago. But that is besides the point.

The post in question (that I recieved an infraction for) had been up for over a week and then pro-rabbit decided to handle the issue after he was called out in a facebook secret group.

Rabbit wanted to look "fair" and unbiased so he did some house cleaning.

I do give pro-rabbit props for owning up to it. I will not be here anymore. I am on diyma.com and fb. If any of you guys ever want to talk audio (jstankov@utk.edu on facebook and westco on diymobileaudio.com)

After this and the nonsence with MOT I really shouldn't stay here. I enjoyed posting with a lot of the members here. I wish everyone all the best.

I would like to clarify a few more points I missed your post west.

I have given infractions out to many people for various reasons regardless of my views of them. Most of the time I get a pm of understanding what transpired rather then a post from being upset that they can not except responsibility for their actions.

As for "my customer", that has nothing to do with nor have I went out of my to impose/enforce rules. You are only allowing yourself to believe altered truth by someone else to suggest you were right with your actions or I was wrong in some way.

As for the posts, I deleted then a few days ago actually. I have been tossing around the infraction/ban ideas ever since. There is no way to delete an entire thread and not hand out infractions. While you may claim you were innocent you were not.

Sorry you feel the way you do though and see you around other forums and back here sooner or later.

Like West said, the mods pick and choose what they want to moderate based on who you are. Thats why this place is filled with a shit storm of newbs all the time and you rarely see the OG's posting on the regular and if they are posting its just in some bullshit thread.

I just don't see that. If your not sure use the report feature and see how that works. We can not be every where so if you see something wrong report it.

As for the "og" members you are actually very far from the truth their. They move on from audio or have life alter events that take then away from a forum. This tends to happen over time.

Right, ok. Whatever helps you sleep at night. That report button doesnt do shit unless someone is sucking your dick. But everyone thats caught onto it you guys have either banned or run off bc they're sick of your guys' shit. And for the OG comment I'm pretty right on because many of them are still in audio and on other forums.

I maybe the new guy here but I get a chuckle anymore when I hear the words Facebook and pissed off. I have had my friend call me crying bc someone deleted her from there over an argument. What ever happened to going out beating the crap out of each other then getting drunk together and forget about in the morning.
