alright, today is my bday and for that I got a couple striping brushes and 5 cans of 1-shot paint. This is the first time I have EVER tried this so I just figured I would throw up my first couple attempts. The left side started as tracing the napkin under it, but then I did my own thing when I couldnt see the lines any longer. The right side, is a design I found on the net and put UNDER the lexan, to trace. Im not saying I am a pro, so I don't expect any comments saying it's awesome, but I dont really care to hear the ones saying it looks like shit. It is obvious its not THAT nice, but it is an attempt at something new.

i haven't met anyone good at pinstriping yet and I paint cars. i've met a few people that have a set of brushes, but nobody that compares to the people on t.v.

just from looking at yours, you need to work on having a more steady hand(unless you were going for the sketchy look) but practice makes perfect. pinstriping is definately hard. keep it up and show some more pics once you get better, you've got my interest.

ya i dont naturally have a steady hand, but for my first time ever picking up a brush, and all that good stuff, I think I did fairly well. Google Pistol Pete, Volksrods. That guy is insane at what he does. Also theres a yahoo group and those guys are beyond amazing. AS is "dougy fresh" but he more or less does minitrucks, and panels, not straight lines to accent. There are people out there for sure that arent famous and could most likely ruin a career if given the right chance to show their skills.

What you have done so far looks awesome. Keep on working at it and youll be great at it.

Ill probly get time to play with it monday after i sand the clear and clean it up.

i have a friend in las vegas that does it profesionally for semitrucks and what not, all free hand, no tracing, no tape, just a steady hand, it's crazy as **** to watch him work and see how perfect it ends up.

i know its not the best work, and I dont expect to learn over night as I said in the beginning of the thread. Therefore your post is pointless, and it does nothing to me.
