Learned a good Lesson

I finally learned how much difference box build can make. Put my subs in a box that was about .1 cuft bigger per chamber and made out of 3/4 instead of 1" MDF. The difference was like night and day. The 3/4 box sounded like crap. The new box was actually flexing. It was designed just like the old one just a touch bigger. I didn't think that changing would make such a big difference. Needless to say I have switched back.

Both boxes are sealed.

makes me wonder if my idmax can actually sound better than the 2.0 ported to 32hz i have it in now.. i had it built by moe and have never tried any other box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif
