A while back, my father in law recommended a guy to do some work on my Bravada. (ball joints, pitman arm, idler arm). Anyway, he did one ball joint (out of four) and returned all of my parts, minus the one ball joint he put on.

I have notarized letters from my father in law saying he the guy (his name is Eric Lapois, if anyone might happen to know him) was supposed to put the shit on. I also have a letter stating that the work wasnt done from the owner of the shop I ended up getting the work done by. Then, I have receipts showing he returned the parts, with his name signed and everything.

I spoke to the police, they told me it was a civil matter, since I provided him with the parts to put on. So, they suggested I take him to small claims court- of course I would win, but that would do me no good, he has no job. Hes one of those people that makes his money just doing car repairs for people.

So Im wondering, should the prosecutor charge him criminally for endangering lives or something? Seeing as how he said the car was fixed, when it wasnt? Basically, my pregnant wife and I could have been killed, just so he could make $300.

On a side note, any good ways to totally PWN him? I have most of his information- drivers license number, his address, his mom's address, criminal history on both, and his social security number. (Im not even so pissed about the money anymore, its more a personal thing now, because everytime he sees me he takes off running like a true *****).

Yes, by the second amendment to the constitution you are allowed freedom of speech. These fliers, with the above situations true, is legal.

Yeah, thats exactly what happened. He did 1, so it wasnt too hard for him, he just didnt do the rest of it.

It was just a private guy, not a shop. He used to work for my father in law at autozone, so we thought it would be alright. Hes done lots of work for other people my inlaw knows, noone ever had a problem like this.

No reason to take it to court, I explained that in the first post. He doesnt have a steady job, so no way to get my money. At least thats what the court tells me, even though the little pamphlet they sent me tells me they can sell off his property if he doesnt pay......

I did figure out one more way to pwn him- Ill be calling the IRS tomorrow, to let them know that hes more than likely a tax dodger- Id be highly surprised if he pays taxes on his under the table income.

Also, his electricity and gas services will be turned off tomorrow.......

Anyone know of anyway I could get his phone number? I had the old one, but he changed it the day I discovered he ****ed me over.....Its not listed on any of the internet directories that I know of. He has a Cricket cell phone, old number was 937-450-3610.

yeah taking it to court would prolly be a waste of time not to mention would cost money but u would have him pay for court fees and all that crap since he has no job and no money there is no sense in going to court when u are not gonna get your money anyways....the flyer is a good idea... or find him and take a bat to him and hit him 3 good times for the joints he did not replace...kneecaps are a good place to start

But to the OP...take him to small claims court, pass out flyers, do everything to ruin this guy. I've been screwed by mechanics before too and they deserve to have the shit kicked out of them.
