I know a few people around here have to ride jet ski's....since i'm with in 6-8 weeks of being able to get mine in the water i was thinking about getting a wetsuit as i can get one for hella cheap through a realtive...should i get a cut off one or full length????

Back on the topic of jet ski's, what do you guys have??? I know some people were talking about there stand up ones and riding them into the waves on the ocean that looked effing sweet but since i live in iowa all i have is the miss. river so i have a 3 person (who i never let three people on) sea doo rti 2001...only 135 hp but can match my friends new seadoos (2004's) which have the 185 or 190 (can't remember) supercharged engines, cause mines a two stroke....Anyone have any experience with the RXT's or RXP"s i've always wondered how they do on gas lol.

I loved mine, but sold them when I moved to Texas. The XP was terrible on oil and gas. Probly cause it was the single seater hot rod and I liked to race it.

EDIT: as far as wetsuits I have several. I liked the shorty or cut off one the best. 3mill light and flexable. I also had a 5 mill for spring time riding.

i have a xl1200 right now and had a gpr1200 pretty much fully modded out. i dont see why you would want a jetski unless you're in cold water alot but thats prefrence i suppose

i gots 2 yamaha 140 4 strokes. love 'em! v-shaped hull so you have to really really try to tip this thing. im puttin a performance kit on one of them.

the only reason i would want a jet-ski is to jump waves and do some tricks with it but thats about it

never really messed around with the RXTs or Ps I saw a couple of them at a local lake Really nice...wooped the shit out of the one I was riding (yamaha 2 stroke 1 seater) dont rember the model number cause it was a friends. having a hull like that isn't as much fun. you can't do near as much or turn as sharply with such a wide deep hull

agreed....I love jet skis that you have to stay perfectly still when they are stopped or eles youll fall off.

i need it here there is so much activity on the lake that you'd fall every five secounds if your trying to get gas on a dock or stopping to talk to your buddy. i plan on getting a sea doo 2 stroke here soon but there GD expensive

i have a 96 XP but its got only 50 hours on it and its been maintained very well....has the variable trim on it.and a new prop....very very fast....im the fastest on my lake except for one RXP....it is a bit quicker....i wanted a RXP but didnt wanna pay 3 + grand for one

ya i have a 26 foot crownline i love that fricking boat. i plan on upgrading to a 35 foot crownline next year. but i may buy my buddies bass tracker this summer so thats tempting

Ive got a 21 foot VIP (vivian Marine Boat company here in LA) it gets me around, 200HP Mercruiser with a few performance upgrades....This summer I plan on doing some auido upgrades, and possibly some new vinyls.

Shit, I shouldnt of read this thread. Now I want a jet ski.

But all that comes to mind if I get one is, fat guy in wetsuite song popping in my head. I just wouldnt look good in one mang!

I only want a wetsuit for spring/fall...never could wear it in the summer that would drive me nuts. We had an 18 foot searay but we sold it and got a 32 searay and a jet ski....I miss being able to take lots of friends out on the ski boat...but i don't think i ever had as much fun on the skiboat as i have on the jetski in just one summer. Reason i was asking about rxt's is cause someone on our dock is selling an 05' one but i'm a little scared of how it's gonna do on gas...I've heard they **** it done like no other, but i've also heard they get as good as if not better gas mileage than a gti...who knows...
