I've racked my brain for days now trying to get the perfect system, and have gotten too many mixed reviews on my previous ideas. I've finally narrowed it down to two choices, and whichever wins, thats what I'm getting.

My goal is a loud daily system in my trunk, that gets low and loud to the ear. I'm probably never gonna compete, so a mic friendly system isn't my goal, I just want loud. Either choice will be powered by the same amp, 1800-2000@1 ohm, depending on my electrical.

The choices are this.... a single 18" TREO/IA hybrid, sub up/port back in a 7cuft@32hz enclosure. I can go up to 9 or 10 cubes with this.

Second option....... two 15s in about the same size enclosure, sub/port back, that can take 1000 daily. I can go as large as 9cuft with the box, but it would have to be sub up/port back. The brand hasn't been decided, but I was looking at RE SEs, SXs, Diamond D3s. I may actually goe with 3 ported if they take smaller boxes and only need around 500 watts. you guys give me some suggestions.

Which options would you choose for me?

Thought about some IA subs, but they're kinda expensive. Good idea though, hmm.....

id swear by my LIs, just awesome subs. Did a 148.6 last weekend with a 1500d. They are dam loud for some cheaper 12s.

Thought about the BLs, but they require more power than I have. Would be nice though.

I'll 2nd the IA Death Rows... 2 15's on 2k rms will definately move some air. 8 cubes at 34 maybe?

You may be right. No one thinks the 18 has a chance? I would've thought it would be a closer race, but it seems everyone is riding with the 15s

I assumed that the 15s would be close to the 18s, but not enough to make everyone pick the 15s

I was thinking of doing a setup with three subs, but they would've been diamond d3 15s or SE15s. My car and 10s just don't seem to go together. I could see that if I were doing burps for spl maybe, but daily I don't think 10s are for me. I'm still thinking of the triple 15s if I can ever sell this CSX motor
