if the frequency response of a subwoofer is 18-500 hz what frequency do you normally tune a box to??? and where do you set your crossover at the point the box is tuned or the frequency response of subwoofer and od you still use the low pass filter on the amp? thanks

Freq of the box depends on music you listen to, and what you are looking for.

SQ or SPL.

The crossover is determined where you have your midbass crossed at.

you usually tune boxes from 28hz to 36hz for a daily driver setup, or even up to 60hz if you just wanna get loud and dont care about sound quality. if you port you have to set your subsonic filter somewhere in the low to mid 20hz range, and it should be lowpassed from 60-100hz, wherever sounds best to you.
