Ah my cousin got lasik like 3 years ago when it was still new, took 30 minutes. Now he has 20/20 - seems pretty legit.

Contacts can be just as a pain in the *** as glasses for some people.

Contacts are really nice for playing sports, and being active. But it's always nice to have a pair of glasses for when you don't wanna get up and put your contacts in during the morning.
However, make sure you don't cheap out on the surgery... My Mom got pretty cheap lasik surgery... and it's all fcked up now, she has to wear glasses again.

The surgeon I was referred to does all the surgeries for the Tenn. Titans football team. Ends up costing a little less then 1500 dollars after everything is said and done

I got a pan, I got a plan
my mom had it done recently and has been very happy with it. she is 50 and had been wearing glasses since she was a child. she has had no issues with it but at first she said her eyes felt like they had sand in them. but that went away

I'm getting mine done in February of next year. I have been wanting it for awhile. the doc that is doing it is the #1 rated eye surgeon in Utah. 2800 for everything. But, I have never heard or read about a single problem with his procedures. Nice thing is insurance covers 85% of it. FYI, I have had glasses since I was in middle school. I'm 28 now and tired of them. Time for a change.

i got it.
pretty simple procedure.
probably like 45 minutes in and out. although it was probably the most uncomfortable 45 minutes of my life..
ocular speculums spreading my eyelids open. but my eyes are squinty, so they wouldn't open enough, so they had to take a scalpel and cut the sides of my eyelids so they would open farther.
than you have to stare at a red dot.
it sucks. but it's worth it lol
