sorry, almost impossible to get a new laptop with everything you want for less than 700ish.

I've built quite a few of em, but the price to do it can't compete with the big name manufacturers... I just bought a gateway P-7811 FX for $1249, has Intel Centrino 2 platform with a Core 2 Duo, Geforce 9800 GTS, 200 gig 7200 rpm HDD, DVD burner with labelfish, 4 gigs DDR3, yes DDR3, draft N wifi, and a 17 inch 1920 X 1200 screen. those are just the base specs, a wonderful machine for the price, woulda cost me 600 or more just to build it. you can find it at best buy, it goes on sale periodically.

yeah sorry man, thats not going to happen. The manufacturers get breaks on price cause they buy in volume, and pass those savings along. I can't do the same. But if I were you, I'd steer away from the turion and get the intel Core 2... they are better processors. Possibly even check out the dell outlet, you can get refurbs or others for cheap. Just got my sister a notebook for under 600 new, with core 2, wireless, bluetooth, etc.

honestly, no one is going to be able to build you a laptop cheaper than you will find at the store. I'd just get a dell and wipe it and install the os of your choice.
