Laptop Screen

Hey guys i just was wondering if any body has installed a laptop Screen in their car. I just got my hands on a 14.1" i think it's XGA screen, it might just be SVGA or TFT not sure. Is there anyway to connect this up to a VGA to S-Video converter? ....Without buying a laptop.

Usually laptop screens have terrible high-temp performance and terrible off-axis performance, so often they are a bad choice for auto use. FYI.

if ur using a laptop screen, make sure its TFT or as said above by elduderino, you wont see **** unless your dead on

Laptot screens are often unusable because the drivers for the screen are of ten buried in the motherboard.
