LOL, im on my laptop listening to winamp, music from my 80gb external laptop HD (cased) with my laptop running to my 9835 aux input, stealing someones unsecured internet, while in a parking lot. it's beautiful.

I bought the OmniFi 20 Gig hard drive for my blazer. I love it.
It comes with a din-sized controller that you can mount anywhere in the vehicle. I molded mine into the rearview mirror. You simply splice into a power, ground, and turn-on lead. Then plug the rca's into your auxillery input of your headunit.

Here are a couple of pics of the actual hard-drive and the controller before I put it in my mirror.

I bought one to, then upgraded the HDD to 60GB. After 6months the FL heat killed the hard drive and my click wheel isnt responding accurately. It was a good product that needed on more generation to get perfect. I was running OpenFi with mine and love that software. It allows you to just drag an drop music without SimpleCenter.

a car-puter in your car, which is going to be expensive.

$750 to $1250 isnt expensive for it, IMO.

Do that tho. A 'car-puter' isnt a bad option at all. Its the best thing I did. Which is why I did it again, and will do it again. I have over 3k mp3s right there. Not to mention I can get a GPS device from anywhere that sells computers and things, and I can also get software and cables to plug into my vehicle to monitor the engine, and if/when it throws out a code, I'll know what and how to fix it right there on the spot. Check into the in car pc, its a good investment. I am at 80 gb right now, soon to go bigger.
