Lanzar Vibe

the lanzar vibe 1500d, 1200d, or jbl 1200.1 to power 4 kicker comp vrs, 400 watt rms, dual 2 ohm subs

which one should i get, all around same price

thanks

Personally, I'd scratch the 1500D. Chrome and plexi on amps is nothing short of embarassing - plus, I think the 1500D is the same board as the 1200D with jacked up ratings to drag in the poorly informed consumers. With that said -

I like the 1200D - the controls are very nice and the power can't be beat for the price. I like the jbl too, but for $220 I think the Vibe is a better buy. At 2 ohms the JBL would give you quite a bit more power, but I don't think there would be a lot to be gained in sound, and the Vibe would be significantly less stress on your electrical system.

BTW, I owned a 1200D for a few months.

Ok, so you think I should be getting the 1200D, it is 1 ohm stable correct? I will be wiring 4 comp vr's down to 1 ohm with that? But the JBL and the vibe are very similar in ratings correct, like at 1 ohm??

JBL sucks more power from your alt. i had a 1200.1....loved it. but i didnt know that it drew so much power at 1 ohm. if i did it over again...id probably look into other amps..but i didnt know of any inexpensive 1000+ watt amps. the vibe looks like a nice amp...go for it.
