lanzar vibe question

I ran a lanzar for a bit cause I was broke... it worked fine, but didnt give me great SQ and def didn't put out rated power.

I think overall they are not good amps. But then it's hard to argue with 40 bucks. Thats like 4 beers in a decent bar.

I ran a mono block Vibe and never had a problem with it. It was a pretty decent budget amp actually. Still works too, my friend bought it off me and still runs it daily.

i had a vibe286 that came straight out the box with a blown channel.. it got fixed and i sold it.. idk tho.. it seemed pretty decent.. it got hot as 7 hells tho.. and they dont like under rated ohm load.. I was a n00b at the time so wutever... try to talk him down a lil... but I think it should be fine as long as you scramble eggs on it at .5ohms load

Ok hooked up the lamp, it does much better for these speakers then the small alpine I had on it. Testing it I would say even tho it is rated for 200wrms per channel it prob doing more like 130

I had a vibe 430 which I'm guessing is basically identical to the 435 on the inside. The 430 was rated a lot more accurately at 125x4. A few years back I came across a benchtest of the 430 at 296x2 bridged.

Anyway --

The 435 should be a legitimate 100x4 amp. 40's a giveaway. If it's in good shape, performance-wise ~$80 would have been a fair deal IMO, but those were probably the butt-ugliest amps Lanzar's ever sold.
