Lanzar subs help

i have two Lanzar Opti 1232D and they are 2 ohm (Dual Coil and i am running them to a hifonics bx2005d amp i was wordering do i have to wire them to 2 ohms or can i wire them to 1 ohms and how would i wire them

I would suggest you to run them at 2ohms on that amp.

wire each sub in a series individually.

Tex, the rules don't change when you ask the same question on a different forum.

A pair of dvc 2's give you 3 possible wiring options with a mono amp -- 1/2 ohm, 2 ohms or 8 ohms. 1 ohm is not possible unless you only use one coil from each sub which I would not recommend.

With that amp 2 ohms should be fine. You'll get 500w+ to each sub which should be plenty for them to perform well.

and do that for both subs and and twist the wires together from each sub and run them to your amp.

and can can i wire my 2 subs this way to my mono amp and will it still be at a 2 ohm load and my subs are in seperate single boxes

Yes, that's fine. Your coils are in series making each sub 4 ohms. Subs are parallel at the amp making the final load 2 ohms.
