im pretty new to all this so i was wondering if any of you had ever had any of the lanzar opti scion series subs and how well they performed for you in your setups. thank you for any info you have on them.

i decided to just go for it got it and its not bad i have it in a sealed box that i think might be too big for it though.

yeah thats the one should i be running an amp that is 500 watts rms @4 ohm or should i go slightly under that since the sub is rated for 500 watts rms (1000 watts peak)?

I wouldn't send 500 watts anywhere near a 40$ speaker

im guessing my cheap little amp isnt going to blow this sub its rated for 400 watts @4 ohm bridged

500rms is nothing these days i send more than that to the left front stage,gzzz.

its a entry level sub but if powered good and in a good enclosure it might do ok...

Well I'm an entry level person so I guess that works out should I use a sealed or ported enclosure?
