If youre gona go lanzar, go with two Lanzar OPTI1232D. They're **** loud and get real low. They're also the most durable

Thats an old sub. They been out for a few years now. I don't think they make that design anymore. Here's the other Optidrive model that came out the same time as that one:

Oh yeah....I never saw or heard any in person but I always wanted one. Heard good things about the Opti amps so was always curious about the subs.

The opti's are wayy louder than the type r's. I've had my type r's since December and already want to upgrade. If my car could handle the power, I'd be running the opti's. The type r's dont get deep enough for me and get a tad bit muddy at high volumes sometimes. Oh, and for SPL, my brother-in-law had 2 of those opti's and hit 152 DB. He had the loudest set of 12's for 2 years in a row for the state of Colorado [Db Drags].

Well, the opti amps were/are nice. But I dont see how that technology would carry over to speakers, and ensure they are nice also. Not saying they are good or bad subs, I have no experience with them, but dont let the 'opti' model name fool you into any false pretenses about it.
