Lanzar Opti 700x2

Anyone have any input about performance or real world numbers on this amplifier? Is it near the 2000 mark @ 4 ohms?

Looking for a big class A/B to hammer on a 4 ohm 15" LMS driver this summer. This one seems like a good candidate.

Optidrive is the only good line of lanzar that will actually do rated power

That is not worth like $650... I would much rather get the opti 900x2 for $379

Thanks, looks like a **** nice. I'll be forced to be economical with this one, though. Probably grab the Opti and a bank of ultracaps, see how that goes.

Oh, that's right. I remember posting in that thread now. The 900x2 is still pretty affordable. Looks like it's smaller than the 700x2?

Much more budget option is the powerbass 1200.2, for around 180$. Not sure what it actually does power wise but fused at 160a

The 700x2 is 23" long and the 900x2 is 24" long so an inch bigger

Not bad at all. Not sure it will be strong enough, though. The Opti is claiming RMS of 700/ch @ 4 and 950/ch @ 2 so that should put me close to dynamic window of 1800-2200 @ 4 with acceptable distortion. That's about the lowest I'd prefer to go on a 15" RL-s. I think it could absorb far more but I don't have the electrical for it.
