Just wondering what you guys think of the Opti 1535D. I'm thinkin about doing 6 or 8 of them in my 99 4Runner.

Those subs are a bad *** sub, and i dont know why more people dont use them, they have 4" coils, take lots of power, effecient, and very loud!

You are mistaken. You are thinkin of the 1532D. the 1535D is a 3 inch coil and takes 300w more rms, and has a triple stacked motor. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Except I wouldn't run too much power on them. A MECA competitor was using them in her trailblazer and blew all of em off of a Opti 6000D I believe. She had 4 of the 15s.

She must have been runnin that opti at half an ohm. That would be like 9000 rms or so. i will only be runnin around 1500 to each so it should work.
