I got both of these subs , 109$ I built the box for them taking the volume of my cars trunk into consideration with the enclosure size. and I didnt ask the name of the mic used.. it was at Custom Sounds San Antonio and it was on a long USB chord so.. maybe that will help to indentify the mic.

My dad has a blue Pyle 10" squatting in his shed somewhere, and it has a plastic basket...

and as for the Lanzar MAX12's design, i think it's pretty cool aside from seeing all the audiobahns with flames and excursions and what-not.

I put them in a Sealed enclosure I built for SPL. Custom Sounds in san antonio TX , peg'd me at 149db's at front seat.

Can I see a flag off in the distance? 149 is a tough number to reach in a well tuned enclosure with potent drivers...I don't see it happening sealed (unless it's a wall), but hey...who knows.

I still see the flag coming up over the horizon though....either way, to AznRevlAzn, glad you're happy with them.

Sorry general, but I've heard those things in a small sealed enclosure and they're really not all that loud. I'd take a quality circular sub over a mediocre square sub anytime...

Ok, well I wont deny it ... I saw what i saw on the mic and nothing changes what I saw.

The mic used showed a 149db reading .. .. how accurate it was at the time ot me was a sensational feel. It could be way off ! I boast 149dbs and will till a different mic shows me otherwise. Ill pay another 20$ to take a digital pic of it with those square subs.

I wont say none of yall are wrong.. to be honest I saw the shock on the guys face and I was in dis-beleif myself because my system hits f**n hard, but Ive had louder so from what everyone is saying here.. that reading sounds way fkng off !

Im going to take it to a diff place and see what I get on it. Ill do that when I get off work today. more and more people are telling me thats in-accurate.. i want to see for myself and not make myself look dumb boasting 149dbs with cheap *** pair of subs , they hit hard nuff to piss neighbors off is one thing I know for a fact.

Probably is the mic. I'd say if you can do 140+ on the new TL with those, then that's pretty impressive.
