Lanzar HTG434

Anyone know about Lanzar Amps? My brother got a 800 watt a few weeks ago and its good so far. I was looking at the HTG434. 1200 watt 4ch. I am going to bridge two Rockford RFD2212's on it so there will be 600 watts going to each sub... Anyone think im a dumbass for thinking about Lanzar, or should i put more wattage on the HX2?? Any better amps that i can get for around the price of $135?? Thanks

Lanzar Heritage is more of an entry level brand, but for the cost they're not bad at all. However, do NOT expect 1200 REAL watts. The 2 ohm rating is 250x4, which should equal 500x2 bridged, but with the same chassis size, fuse size, and control locations as the old Vibe 430 I would expect it to be just about equal in power as well -- 296x2 bridged. A pretty good deal for less than $150.

Ok... Im not an expert on amps so does anyone know the cheapest amp i could get that would deliver 1200 full, clean watts? Needs to be bridgeable at 4 ohms... Thanks for any input

You would be much better off going with a class D amp -- for several reasons.

Lower price, more availability, and less strain on your electrical system are all benefits you'd get going class D.

Either the Lanzar 1800D or 1200D would be perfect. They both go for around $200 on ebay.

There is also the Hifonics bx1000d, bx1205D, and bx1500d. Bottom line is you're not going to find anything 1000w+ that's reasonably reliabe for less than a couple hundred.

Thanks guys, ive decided to go with two RE 12's, and a nice amp to put out the power needed. Dont have an idea how much it will be, but probably around 400...?
