I drilled a 2.5" hole in the backs of each and they definitely have improved midbass and midrange compared to my old kicks (which were ugly but about the same size), whether thats because of the hole or not isnt really clear. they look really good! glad you went w/ paint instead of carpet. it looks cleaner IMO. they look kinda crooked though...some of it is on the trim panel, and some of it its not.

They dont fit quite perfectly because of both not being able to drive a screw good enough to pressure them down and also the wire running behind them, but I wasnt planning on a perfect set, I'm definitely no professional

they do look smooth and nice, but you should have gone to your local junkyard and bought a pair of ABS stock kick panels, and added to them.

if i did another set of kicks - thats defintaly how id go about it.

Yeah that would have probably been a good idea, sounds like alot of effort though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif My goal was just to make some thing that I wast embarassed of, these turned out alright, and plus since I dont know how much longer the car will last, they'll probably be the last set I use in this car.
