L7's arent cuttin it anymore

I have one 04 L7 ported and it isnt enough anymore. I was wondering what I should start to look at to get louder than the L7. I was looking at the PBX subs and also thought about doing like 8 RE 8's. It's going in the extra cab of a nissan pickup. My amp is a Power Acoustik a3000db. It is rated at and does somewhere around 1100@4 ohm 1800@2 ohms 2300@1 ohms. well let me know what you think.

I have two but the other is the 03 model and i wasnt sure if I wanted to get that one switched out for the 04, or start looking for something else. The one I have right now after playing for about 5 min starts to smell like it is about to catch on fire. So was thinking of looking for something different.

You people know not everyone wants a MT. They are not the perfect "superwoofer" everyone seems to be making them out to be. I guess I just don't understand why when people ask, "what should I get??" everyone seems to answer...MT!!!! Not flaming on anyone but why is everyone like MT!!!!!! I guess I know the answer to that but I will ask anyways. The MT will get old just like everything else... same thing that happen to the D2, XXX, and every other "superdriver"

i ain't sayin its a superwoofer or anything. im just saying its a loud mother (ive heard a 12'') and not much out there is louder than the l7 (price wise at least) so i figured i'd let him know about dat!

well I just want to try something else, I dotn know anyone who has any re subs so I wasnt sure if they got louder than the L7's. Than I saw how cheap the RE8's are and saw someone else with a wall of them on here and was wondering what 6 of the 8" subs would sound like in a smaller wall.
