OK I'm going to buy a 15'' L7 ported and the amp is going to be a Hifonics TX1505D that is supposed to put out around 1000 wrms at 2 ohms and 1500 wrms at 1 ohm. My question is should I get the dual 4 and wire it to 2 ohms or should I get he dual 2 and wire it to 1 ohm? I know the amp is alittle overrated but if the get the dual 2 and wire it to 1 ohm would the sub be able to handle the power? Also if I my box is tuned to 38hz would my sub be ok using a epicenter?

Buy the dual 2 ohm sub. Yes it will be fine with the epicenter, but I would tune it around 34 hertz. Just me though

with a tuning that high, just make sure you're using an SSF

becareful with the epicenter.......it will blow your subs in a heart beat if u dont know what your doing

the interesting part is the epic comes from the factory set with the center frequency at 33hz...u have the ability to set it anywhere from 27hz to i believe 63hz

when u start messing with the knobs and dont understand whats what....your in trouble...then u will end up restoring all your bass at 27hz and then turning the knob all the way up because u feel your bass didnt get loud but whenu look at your subs there jumping like mexican jumping beans in a frying pan

if anything play with the wide knob and not the sweep
