if the clipped signal's power is less than the thermal power handling of the speaker, it doesn't matter if it's clipped or not. granted, it won't sound great, but it won't kill it either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Doesnt clippin slow down excursion thus not allowin the sub to move enough and cool down as needed thus heatin up more then nessasary and fry like a egg

not necessarily. there have actually been several tests where there was no real change between a clipped signal and an unclipped signal. i will have to find the links for ya...
Ive read them.........its avg power that over heats a sub thus killin it.
If it can handle 1000watts avg power and its gettin 900watts clipped its alright..................bull it will kil it sooner or latr.Maybe not in comp burps but evryday it will kil it.
