l7 ripped spider

believe it or not I've gotten lucky before using my wife's finger nail polish to repair stuff like that....

but about any kind of good glue can work.... depending on the location of the tear you may have to rip some material off another bad speaker to help bridge the gap.... best glue to use is something that will remain a little flexible....... I used to know a guy who had a 15 that over excurted and the VC jumped the gap and bent the former.... he took it apart, used a jewelers file to repair the former and glued it back together....... it lasted over a year before finally coming completely apart..... lol..... looked kinda like Thors' Franky....

CA glue is super glue... CA stands for cyanoacrylate.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

BTW that quote in your sig had me ROFLMAO.....
Yes but they are a little bit different. Ca glue is not available in most places. Some random hobby shops or places like home depot might have it.

But super glue is way cheaper and should work fine as a patch for now.

x2 regular super glues such as elmers is no where near thick enough or strong enough. Better quality CA glue provides a quicker/stronger bond.

I put it together with no spider at all. and put 1500 rms to it for a minite that thing was movin, got really hot and smoked my whole car up. and it still works fine. I dont even put that much power to my 2 12" L7s but I quess I can run that much power no prob.

But yeah no spider at all works. ?

L7s can take alot, and keep going =)

zx.1500.1 with gain and bass boost all the way up, playin PUT ON = POOR sub
