the l7 can handle more power

Is that the only difference? B/C i was thinking about getting the l5 as my first sub b/c it's cheaper.

it depends on what you can afford for an amp...if you can only afford an amp taht cant put out much power...your better off with the l5...if you can afford an amp that can put out more power...go with the l7
