Which system do you think would sound better?

2 Kicker L5 12's in a 4^3 sealed enclosure powered by a JBL 1200.1 ?

or

2 Kicker L7 10's in a 2^3 sealed enclosure powered by a JBL 1200.1

Obviously I'm not going for all out SPL since the boxes are sealed, but I think I'll be building the boxes so I'm trying to keep them fairly simple.

L7's arent really for SQ setup's they lean more to SPL.

i like the way an L5 sounds to be honest. i mean your gonna give a pair of 12"s 2cuft a piece and i gave a 15" only 2.5 it still sounded very good IMO. i'd say go L7 though.

It says the L7 10's only need 1^3 of space sealed, what if I gave them 1.5^3, would they just hit harder at lower frequencies?

well if your really looking for sq or sqpl...i would recomend a shiva or a brahma....neways...
