I have made a 17 inch long L port, but the way it turned out of more of an "I" port. It's the correct length, it just turned out more like an I.
I was wondering if anyone has built a box with a port like this, and if so, did it sound like a normal slot port box should sound?
I have 3 pics attached, and although you guys all know what a port is, I decided to color it red. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif
(the driver will be facing up, in the center, right above the port)

This line is whats 17" long. Both openings of port are 3" x 14".
