L.E.D.s how??

I'd use a relay to provide the power and a switch to activate the relay. LED's use very little current, so it should be no problem to put several on a single circuit (fused of course) Also remember led's are one way only, if it's wired backwards, they won't light up. I think a 7.5amp fuse would be enough for a circuit containing 20-30 small leds or so, though you could determine load when you buy your led's, I am reasonably sure it will say how much current they use, and I'd run them in a series-parallel circuit.

I'll see if I can draw it out for you in the morning and send it via email, or pm or something for you. I have never done it personally, but I know a hell of a lot about automotive electrical systems (ASE Master Auto technician). Where are you planning on putting them? How many branches (1 branch for each door? a branch under the dash?) Are you buying led's from radio shack to string together or are they pre wired and you hook them up?Let me know.

what ever you do you need the final voltage to equal 12volts. you cannot wire them below that or *poof* they all go away. wiring in series (positive to negative) is the easiest way to achieve the 12 volt requirment. divide twelve by the number of LED's you want to add and then take that number and buy LED's that have that number as their voltage.

I was gonna save the images and post it in a thread, but my computer is funky and will save everything as a bitmap image instead of the original format.

me being lazy
