Sold kx2500.1 $300!!!!

Im selling my kx2500.1 to fund for my new build. Heres the deal and the reason its so cheap,the rca side of the amplifier was damaged during shipping from the person I purchased it from so the rca wire is soldered directly to the board and silicone around it so it doesnt get pulled out or broken. The subwoofer bass boost controller is also hard wired onto the board. So visually its about a 5,it isnt pretty but the amp does work 100% perfect and the modifications do NOT effect the sound quality or output,I am willing to let you listen to it before i pull it out if someone is interested,I can get pics of the outside of the amp but not the actual inside of the repair job because its still mounted and not the easiest location to take the cover off. I have the fan plugged into the amplifier to always stay on so it doesnt get hot like most do,and I have always ran this amp with proper voltage never let it drop past 11.8. I have people in the truck club im in that can vouche that the amplifier is in 100% working condition. I am not willing to take any less than $300 for it,and the item is located in orlando FL ,thanks alot. Also just to add amp was purchased from BassAddictJ and he can vouch that all repairs didnt hurt the performance of this beast!! Willing to do shipping but unsure if I have a box to ship it in.

Well like i was saying,i dont see why u cant strap it ,just use a splitter for the rca and it will be just as having a left and right.

say what you will about it, but it's soldered and siliconed in place (not as pretty as other jobs but essentially the same thing anyone else would do) and it worked FLAWLESSLY for over a year before I sold it to this guy. It was in the trunk with 145db+ of bass and still never acted up once. It's solid, you have my word on that. It a shame post dumpers like you dont appreciate quality gear for cheap. it's cheap due to cosmetic issues, the functionality is 100%.

If people are concerned about the visual, why don't they make an amp plate to cover it all? Or mount it behind the box where it won't be seen like most people, good luck with this sale man good price....I'm waiting on current equipment to sell and at that point if you still have it I'll take it.

can u still some how strap this one to the zx series even tho it got one rca ???

if i recall correctly these amps (kx or zx) do not "strap". you can daisy chain them (1 amp per coil) with the same rca input signal and match the gains w/ a dmm. i did the same thing with a pair of 1501d's and it worked great. just gotta make sure the output voltages are within about a volt of each other. you're best bet is to get some kind of preamp line driver like a maxxlink that is designed to run a strong signal to multiple amps. lol in fact the maxxlink uses a single rca output so you wouldnt need to use an adapter to connect this to the maxxlink.

these are mono blocks. the two rca input terminals go to the exact same input signal path on the board, there is no L and R ch. in fact the "left" and "right" mono sub outputs from your hu or preamp are identical unless there is an option for those preamp outputs to be stereo.

Why is there only 1 rca soldered in?

the terminal came damaged to me from shipping, and i repaired it.... put a $2 rca splitter on it and calll it a day. the normal factory terminals on the amp are splitters that bring both rca cable sognals together to the mono input of the amp.

this amp was a champ for me (in the exact same condition its in now) and never let me down. the one and only reason i sold it to eutechnyx was that I got a good deal on my cyclops and i was thirsty for 4kw. I promise all of you that you will not, under any circumstance, find a better quality 2.5kw for 300 bucks shipped, and you're an idiot for saying otherwise. Anyone who has used these series of amps knows that a fully functional kx 2500 for 300 shipped regardless of condition is a great deal.
