i just ordered 2 new 12" RE SE's I was thinking about running them off a kicker kx1200.1 I was wondering whether this would be a new choice or if there is another amp that would be better

if you look around you could find a amp that cost less but still puts out the same power or even more.

That amp would be perfect for those subs, excellent choice in my opinion.

It'll work just fine.

If you give us a budget to work with, we will be able to suggest others comparable to the KX1200.1 within the same price range. The Kicker would be fine, however.

i cant really afford to spend any more than 500$
