Kumho ECSTA MX?

looking to get some new tires for my stang. i have the nitto nt555 extreme performance tires right now. they have been great. i have put around 17,000 miles on them. they have more life but i have a plug in all four (nail patch)...long story.

im lookin at the kumho ecsta mx. has anyone ever used these or heard about them? any opinions?

i would love to try a set but nobody around here seem to have them. i think i am gonna try out the fuzions that came out a while back. i here they are great tires.

I think they are a good tire for the dough. I have 215/35r 18's in my Civic. They last for a LONG time (treadwear) but get crapola traction in the rain. I had one set where the tread rubber was cracking and seperating from the carcass which was scary, but I have never seen that happen with any tire regardless of price point, and the new ones are fine. I think it was a fluke.

i went with the bfg g force kdw-2 255-40-17. had em almost a week and i love em'. for 161 bucks a piece, i aint complaining.

i've heard lots of good things about avon tech if you want a cheap yet good performance tire..

i've been using the MX since it came out. Don't think I'll ever use another tire on a car that is street driven. The MX does perform well on dry pavement, lasts through the abuse of a few auto-xs, and they do decent in the rain(kinda like driving on a drag radial in teh rain).
