Ku-sama's new whip

[Ku-sama]

I call her... Kathleen.

She needs some work, but I picked her up for a VERY nominal fee of nothing down, and $600 owed to a friend.

planning has started awhile ago on what is to be done.

but unlike a lot of people on this forum, I'm going to be fixing up the car before I do anything system related (except a HU)

227k miles and still running strong.

the needs list:

Hard Core tune up (Fuel filter, plugs, plug cables, distributor rotor+cap, ect)

valve gasket (Drip drip a little bit)

new exhaust manifold +gaskets (leaky leaky)

new clutch (slippery when worn down)

new tires (not needed, but I want some more grip)

um, your going to spend 3x the price of the car in PARTS alone for these repairs:

Hard Core tune up (Fuel filter, plugs, plug cables, distributor rotor+cap, ect)

valve gasket (Drip drip a little bit)

new exhaust manifold +

gaskets (leaky leaky)

new clutch (slippery when worn down)

new tires (not needed, but I want some more grip)

If it was a COOL looking car that would be worthwhile I would say GO FOR IT but my god thats a granny car. You pwned yourself. . . . i think id raher have a non-running CRX

seems to be alot more work than its worth.

if it has some sort of sentimental value or something of the such then ok, but other than that..why..
