the word "nigger" has considerably more history behind it than any derogatory names for whites that remain in current usage. I defy anyone to present evidence contrary to my previous statement. I would argue that this history, not the word itself, is what makes the word so much more incendiary than the slurs for whites that y'all have tried to compare it to. I'd argue that, due to the history behind the word "nigger," it resides on an entirely different level than the racial slurs that have been presented thus far.

i have a couple black friends that call me a nga from time to time it's just a word to me, but i never call them that
