that's where i live now, but i've lived in phoenix and san diego. i agree that detroit may have the rep., but the ghetto is ghetto in any city.

my ex's dad grew up in a really bad area in detroit as an only child, living with two of his aunts because his parents passeda way, and he got his *** kicked on a weekly basis in high school because he was one of 3 white kids in his high school. was hospitalized 8 times. he was just a white kid that kept to himself...

trust me you haven't seen anything till you live here. i'm not exagerating but most of the neigborhoods on the east side look like new orleans after katrina, minus the flooding. the population is 86% black, by far the largest black city in the us.
