Gotta be honest, have only listened to the 1508's. While a kickdrum was perfect and would smack you in the face, anything else just sounded like crap. Box was tuned at 37hz though.

i would imagine the 1508 might be more sq oriented than the 9500, so....

Pretty sure vids won't show you much. The cone moves in and out like every other sub. Unless the sub dies as soon as it gets power, then maybe you might learn a bit about the quality.
