30mm xmax. If that's legit, it implies this is not just a DD 9500 knock-off. Correct me if Im wrong, but the xmax on a DD 9500 is considerably less than that.
Im not a big fan of the new frames DD is using (and a few olthers now obviously). I know they perform well, but they just look... cheap/cheesy to me. And you know, looks are so important. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That would be p-p rating, you can tell looking through the window at the coil that it is a similar geometry to the 9500 motor, if not totally identical top plate to coil ratio.

These will be a good budget SPL burp sub, and I doubt much more than that... the 9500 is quasi-listenable, but these have a much higher Fs than the DDs do so will likely have very little true bottom end.

Gotta be honest, have only listened to the 1508's. While a kickdrum was perfect and would smack you in the face, anything else just sounded like crap. Box was tuned at 37hz though.

yes. i wouldnt think that theyse would sound good... but.. some people like the sound of dd's. i think these may suit them nicely...
