I watched one of Lebrons dunks the other day....he gets high, dont get me wrong...but he can only do it jumping from half the distance of the free throw line.... What the hell are you talking about? You're implying that because Lebron dunked from inside the free throw in a game, that somehow that's bad because MJ did it from the free throw line in the dunk contest. The two dunks have no business being compared. And even if they were comparable, it's still completely meaningless. And even then that's assuming Lebron couldn't dunk from the free throw line at all, which no one knows. But if Scottie Pippen and Brent Barry had the athleticism to do it, I'm sure Lebron could come close, if not match them.

I'm not a Kobe fan, but this was an impressive feat, no matter what. Everyone makes comparisons to Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kareem, but the NBA is a different breed nowadays. These guys grew up on Jordan, Bird, Kareem, Magic, etc. When did we ever see kids coming out of high school at 18 and scoring 25+ points a game and being on Sports Center every night making spectacular, unbelievable plays in their era? There are certain players who come around every so often and raise the bar. Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Jordan, were all this type of player and today's NBA athletes are excelling at a faster rate. They all want to be show stoppers and make their money. Only way to dso that is have impressive stats. Jordan wasn't the greatest when he came to the NBA and many of these younger guys are **** close to MJ on skill level with a lot of career left.

actually i figured it out. i'm not a mod and am not popular and i'm like that guy you love to hate. also i didn't jazz it up buy saying something like lmao, or something witty or clever or new. i was mildiy amused by this MJ is better then lebron because MJ could leap farther on a dunk so i used the same old lol to show i was sorta amused at what had transpired here on the forums. with the forums going to shit i realize you need to save the forums so i assume deleteing that lol has vastly improved the forum for all the members. all the post dumping going on in the classifieds, and shit storms in the audio forums can be put on hold because iceteebone said lol in an off topic forum.
