well put. there isnt another player in the league that wont say kobe is the hardest to guard. and phil jackson wouldnt stick with another player

lets see. without shaq the lakers missed the playoffs, then became a 7th seed and lost in the first round, and are looking at the same fate this year. the lakers have been mediocre with kobe and without shaq.

yea Kobe is a beast, but lebron started off a better player than kobe did by age, i see lebron surpassing kobes status in a few years

miami is a solid team overall not only because of shaq but he is a big part in it.

as for the laker's they dont have any other player's worth a **** besides kobe. smush parker sucks, kwame brown well that is self explanitory and the rest of the butt buster's on that team arent worth mentioning so kobe has no one else. by the way odom should just retire because he isnt worth the extra salary they pay him

before shaq came along, miami was mediocre then they rose to championship level. shaq made wade better. if shaq wasn't occupying the middle of the paint, no way wade would be able to get to the rim against the pistons. ben and rasheed are 2 of the best inside defenders, but couldn't leave shaq to help out on wade

okay carmelo is just behind kobe in scoring by .2 pointsremember that he is just rebounding from the suspension AND he has to share the court with iverson

i'm still not buying carmelo. i think carmelo doesn't get enough props, but the nuggets really aren't that good

carmelo is more then a "solid" player. he is a top 5 player. lebron, kobe, carmelo, wade, nowitzki, and nash. prolly remove carmelo soley because the nuggest are not very good
