Not hard, just not as fast as a set screw. A set screw you just remove the jacket, insert the cable and tighten the screw into the wire.

Compression Fittings - Yes, they take longer to install, but the connection you get with these far excedes the strength any set screw will provide. The new KNI-11 Inline fuse holder is getting real good reviews from our clients and the Triple 1/0 KBT Battery terminals are one of our hottest items right now. All use the fittings.
For those set screw fans - we have something you may like coming later, I here all your moans when you post them and we have a new model under development that will satisfy our wants in a connector and your needs for easier installation.

I for one wouldn't rely on the set screw or compression fitting to be the determining factor whether or not the wire is going to come loose. Its not a bolt and nut connection. The wire and block/fuse holder should be secured correctly.

and fyi, from what I have found all stinger wire is tinned along with almost all of the rockford fosgate wire I can find. so if knukonceptz is so shitty because it is tinned then you need to do some research

kicker hyperflex 1/0 is tinned copper as well.
